Bespoke trips for groups seeking professional, educational, and cultural exchange.
Nestled in the Himalayas, Bhutan is a kingdom where ancient traditions meet a bold, forward-thinking approach to prosperity and well-being. The country offers a rich and unique case study for ambitious Professional and Executive MBA cohorts. From the business epicenter of Thimphu, to rural enterprises, to the grand visions of Gelephu Mindfulness City, every environment offers a fresh lens on what it means to build something meaningful.
Why Bhutan?
An extraordinary opportunity
Bhutan’s historical isolation and limited tourism have kept it unique in many ways, making the nation an extremely valuable destination for challenging assumptions and widening perspectives for business and personal learning. Students will encounter new ideas and contexts that simply cannot be taught in a classroom.
The time is right
Bhutan is at the crux of a massive economic shift. Gelephu Mindfulness City is not just an infrastructure project, it is a movement driving digitalization, innovation, and a new way of thriving: economic vibrancy imbued with traditional Bhutanese spirituality and in harmony with nature. It is to serve as a proving ground for the whole nation. And it’s happening now.
Meaningful & genuine learning exchange
Ideas and experience are best shared person-to-person, grounded in individual context and wisdom. Many Bhutanese entrepreneurs and innovators are eager to discuss their work with motivated MBA cohorts. And by confronting them with the contrasts of the Bhutanese business environment, cohorts will be challenged to apply their knowledge and experience in novel or unexpected ways.
